Who NAM is…
The North American Azerbaijani Network, or NAM, is an organization made up of individuals, agencies and churches with a broad range of involvement amongst the Azerbaijanis and a desire to see the gospel come to Azerbaijanis worldwide. NAM is a legally registered religious non profit entity in the USA.
NAM is part of a larger grouping of partnerships focusing on the Azerbaijani people, known as the Network of Azerbaijani Partnerships, or NAP.
NAP Exists to:
- Introduce the Azerbaijani people globally to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Disciple those Azerbaijanis who come to faith in Christ
- Establish viable, reproducing Azerbaijani churches led by Azerbaijani believers
- Provide a convening place for local and expatriate workers to come together in collaborative partnerships that will further those aims
NAM in collaboration with NAP does this by way of its five purposes.
- By mobilizing the church in North America to reach the 40 million unreached Azerbaijani people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- By raising awareness of the strategic need for ministry amongst the Azerbaijani people worldwide, and in the United States.
- By working in partnership together with churches, agencies and individuals in North America and elsewhere in order to meet the spiritual, physical, social and emotional needs of the Azerbaijani people and fulfill the purposes of NAM.
- By inspiring, equipping, and facilitating the involvement of those individuals, agencies or churches who feel called so that they might find their place for ministry amongst the Azerbaijanis in partnership with other churches and agencies in North America, and all the nations where the Azerbaijanis are found.
- By providing a central information clearinghouse for prayer, ministry, resources, personnel, and financial needs that are required by those who are a part of the Network of Azerbaijani Partnerships.
